From the very beginning, VGI Distribution has stayed true to its mission of providing customers with a uniquely personalized service while also providing high quality, high demand products at fair prices. Our goal is to provide our customers with a one-stop shopping experience by always offering relevant products to ensure our customers’ success in an evolving market.
OUR STORY
In 2014, Yan Gleyzer opened his first retail shop, Vape Guys, Inc., in Colonial Heights, Virginia. Within a few short years, Yan expanded his retail footprint to include three additional shops and established manufacturing and distribution services. With his pulse on the market, Yan quickly diversified his product offerings to include a wide range of hemp-derived products and other highly sought after smoke shop products.
At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, as other businesses scaled back, VGI Distribution focused on its employees and expanded into new markets. To better serve customers, we increased warehouse space, hired additional employees and focused on training. Every VGI Distribution customer has a dedicated account manager who collaborates on a personal level and understands their customers’ needs and various challenges.
The VGI Distribution team remains very active in advocacy and government relations both nationally and internationally and is a member of numerous trade organizations. Yan currently serves as President of the Virginia Smoke Free Association and the Virginia Healthy Alternatives Association, which he founded in 2022.
